A CUNNING Brit has revealed her “holy grail of driving” to beat queues at the traffic junction – and it has whipped the internet into a frenzy.
Her secret method, dubbed “the zipper method” is a trick most drivers were oblivious to.

The trick – that is completely legal – means drivers have the right to use both lanes fully until they reach the defined merge area.
The woman’s video shows dash cam footage of her car cruising along the motorway and passing all the traffic to its left.
Having skipped the line the car then reaches the turning point with no other traffic in its path – and it doesn’t even need to brake before making the turn.
The clip has fellow motorists going wild in the comments section and has racked up a whopping 3.6million views.
One viewer was baffled that so many drivers were unaware of the clever hack, “It’s frightening how many people don’t know the zipper method,” they wrote.
Another added: “People need to understand zipper merge was discovered to increase the traffic flow.”
“This is the holy grail of driving,” said a third.
However, others slammed the driver with one ranting: “Looks like everyone was being patient and considerate as 2 lanes merged into one except for 1 selfish driver I’d say”.
“The reason why people are not using both lanes, is to allow the cars to take the roundabout and go in other directions than left. not to block it,” explained another.
This is not the only road related controversy to strike recently.
Earlier this month we told how a motorist used a controversial slingshot roundabout method to bypass heavy traffic.
And earlier this year a driver divided opinions due to a controversial parking tactic.
The video shows her bypass all of the traffic by using a spare lane in a manoeuvre known as the ‘zipper method’TikTok /@dashcamukbaddrivers
