EX-NETHERLANDS forward Bas Dost collapsed on a football pitch in a terrifying incident in the Eredivisie.
The NEC Nijmegen ace fell to the floor in the centre circle in the closing stages of their match against AZ Alkmaar on Sunday.

The health scare happened in NEC Nijmegen’s match with AZ Alkmaar
Paramedics rushed to the scene to administer treatment.
Fortunately his club have already confirmed the 34-year-old is conscious and moving.
Taking to X, formerly known as X, they said: “Bas Dost is conscious and is taken off the field. The match has been stopped.”
The match has been abandoned following the stoppage.
