Diogo Jota sends classy message of support to Luis Diaz after Liverpool star’s parents rescued from horror kidnap plot

DIOGO JOTA sent a classy message in support of team-mate Luis Diaz by holding up his shirt after scoring against Nottingham Forest.

Diaz’s parents were taken hostage on Saturday near their home in Barrancas, Colombia.

Both have since been rescued in what has been a horrible time for Diaz.

And he was not forgotten by his team-mates.

Jota, 26, netted the opening goal for the Reds in their Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest.

In a classy gesture, he held up Diaz’s shirt in a show of support.

The Liverpool star was hailed for his gesture on social media.

One fan posted: “Beautiful gesture from Diogo Jota.”

A second wrote: “Absolutely love it .”
