Hidden trick on your iPhone will make using it so much easier

IPHONE users were left stunned by a hidden trick which makes using your device so much easier.

It’s one of the most popular default apps on iPhone, but you’re probably not making the most out of it.

The calculator app has a number of secret functions you might not know about2021 DeFodi Images

The calculator app is not only handy but very easy to use.

But users were left gobsmacked when realising utilising the app could get even easier, thanks to one useful Instagram post.

We’ve all done it – making one typo, hitting C and starting the entire calculation again.

But the Insta user showed that it’s actually possible to erase digits one at a time.

Apple has designed it so that you can swipe to revert to your last sum if you made a mistake.

If you are doing lengthy calculations don’t fret as you can delete the typed characters and keeps the rest of the calculations intact.

Simply swipe left at the top of the screen to delete the typed characters.

This saves you from cancelling the entire addition and starting again from scratch.

“Thank you for the share,” said one.

While another said: “Thanks I always start over. Great tip!”

A third added: “You can also erase from the right one number rather than all of them.”

You can also turn your iPhone on its side in Calculator to unlock a hidden mode.

It’s a scientific calculator, which you may well remember from your school days.

This reveals loads of extra functions that were previously hidden.

It comes as iPhone owners are realising a ‘hidden button’ you might never have clicked unlocks 22 tricks.

Holding your side button down brings up Siri, and clicking it twice will activate Apple Pay for a contactless payment.

But Apple has designed it so that you can choose a function for a triple-click too.

It’s tucked away deep in your Settings, so there’s every chance you’ve missed it.

There you’ll be able to choose from a long list of clever features that you can assign to the triple-click.
