WITH the weather getting colder by the day, and snow on the horizon, getting bedding dry outside is impossible.
And amid the cost of living crisis, people are trying to keep their energy bills down by reducing their tumble dryer usage.

DunelmThis is the set she bought – it’s monochrome and chic and will look brilliant in most bedrooms[/caption]
But one woman has found a brilliant way to get her bedding dry in just an hour – and it’s all about the fabric it’s made from.
“When it’s cold and wet outside you don’t want to use the tumble dryer,” the Duchess of Thrift said in a video on TikTok.
“If you’re like us you’ve got three double beds in the house, you’ve got a duvet, pillowcases, sheet, hanging around.
“So I’ve bought this. This is the fleecy teddy bear set.
“It’s a Dunelm one and it’s £22 for the double.”
As well as being “super soft” and “very warm”, it comes out “practically dry” if you put it on for an extra spin.
“It takes an hour to dry,” she said.
“Compared to my old cotton bedding – that would take nearly 48 hours to dry hanging over the bannisters.
“So I cannot recommend this enough.”
She added that she “never really fancied it before”, but realised just how quickly a fleece bedding set would dry when she washed and dried a fleece jumper.
“And there it is on the bed, as you can see,” she concluded.
“It’s quite tasteful this one, I think it’s really nice.
“And it dries in record time!”
“Yes the fleece stuff dries so quick , I put a fleece blanket on top my bed sheet to lie on , it was so warm,” one person commented on the video.
To which the woman replied: “It’s magic, a game changer.”
“I bought a Teddy bear duvet set and also the Teddy sheet. Best thing I’ve bought in years. So cosy and super quick to dry,” another added.
While a third wrote: “I got one a couple of weeks ago and I love everything about it.”
