In the clip, the host goes through several ways to solve the issue.
“To one part water, add two parts isopropyl alcohol. Now just add a few drops of dish soap,” he began.
“Couldn’t be easier and this is probably stuff you already have in the cabinet.
“Spray this on an icy windshield to help it melt away fast.”
Isopropyl alcohol is sold on Amazon or at pharmacies for around £8 per bottle.
Next he showed how distilled vinegar could pull off the trick.
“Another homemade way is to just use white distilled vinegar diluted with water,” he said.
A 568ml bottle of Distilled Vinegar sells for a measly 40p at Sainsbury’s.
The latest de-icing trick comes after a string of other creative ways at solving the problem.
Drivers were blown away by a windscreen de-icing hack that involves common fruit.
For this hack, you will need an orange – which cost just 16p each at Asda – and a microwave.
You just need to microwave the orange for less than a minute and then rub it on the car’s windscreen.
There’s plenty of other hacks to quickly de-ice your car.
One nifty trick is filling a zip-lock bag with hot water and rubbing it over the windscreen and windows.
Plus, one savvy motorist came up with a hack to defrost your car in seconds that costs virtually nothing.
