AN EV driver has claimed electric motors are ruining the best thing about being a car lover, although he admits he’s part of the ‘problem’.
YouTube star Cars With Andrew, who drives a Tesla and is a strong supporter of EVs, says it’ll be a “sad day” when petrol motors are replaced by their electronic counterpart.

The car fanatic, whose YouTube channel shows off his trips to hill climbs, car shows and festivals, took his Tesla Model 3 to a Caffeine & Machine car show in Bedford.
Upon arrival, he admires a Lotus Evora GT410 Sport, as well as a classic Lotus Elise.
There’s also numerous high-peformances Porsches on display, as well as loud American-style muscle motors.
But upon noticing two electric cars driving past him at the festival’s car park, the YouTuber admits the “irony” of his problem with EVs.
He says: “As I’m standing here, everyone’s rushing over to see the V8s and the old American muscle cars coming in… it sounds amazing.
“Don’t you think it’s going to be a bit dead, or not the same when electric cars take over? I know I’m probably part of the problem by coming down here in an electric car… but I have family reasons, it just made sense to us.”
A Tesla driver was recently slapped with a whopping £17,000 bill after their car battery was damaged in the rain.
This comes after one driver told The Sun Online of his nightmare experience using his EV at the UK’s ‘worst’ services.
Meanwhile, EVs could force a new law that sees parking bays made larger over increased fears over fire safety.
