ALDI is opening 12 new shops all in time for the festive period.
The supermarket, which opened its 1,000th store in Woking last month, will be opening one new store a week between now and Christmas.
Aldi has revealed the locations of 12 new stores it plans to open before ChristmasRex
New stores in Taunton and Oldham will open this month, following the opening of three new stores – in Slough, Torquay and Cannock – last week.
Meanwhile, towns such as Farnborough and West Bridgford are set to see new Aldi stores open in November, and several other regions across the UK will welcome new stores before the end of the year.
Each new store opening will create around 40 new jobs on average, boosting employment opportunities within local areas.

The supermarket is set to invest £1.4 billion in expanding its UK footprint over the next two years alone.
George Brown, real estate director at Aldi UK, said: “We’re welcoming more and more customers through our doors each week, which is why we’re investing in new stores up and down the country to bring our great value groceries to even more people and meet the growing demand for Aldi.
“Shoppers know they’ll always get more for their money when they shop with us, and we’re confident Aldi’s success will continue to grow.”
It comes after Aldi confirmed it would be opening 20 new stores before the end of 2023.
However, the discounter, recently voted the UK’s cheapest supermarket by Which?, stopped short of revealing where the 20 new branches will be located.
It comes as a number of other retailers expand their store portfolios.
M&S is set to open three new shops including a “megastore” in time for Christmas.
It comes as part of the posh retailer’s plans to open dozens of new full range stores and food halls before the end of next April.
Meanwhile, Primark this month opened a new shop in Salisbury and completed a refurbishment on its store in Price Street, Edinburgh.
Bargain retailer Poundland has opened several new stores in recent months too.
How can I save money when shopping at Aldi?
You’ll want to employ a few money-saving tips, before heading to Aldi, to slash your bill.
Of course, the discount grocer is famous for its middle aisle, where shoppers can pick up everything from garden furniture and gym equipment to kitchen appliances and clothes.
To get the best bargains, you need to know when the Specialbuy items will be on sale.
You can find new stock in Aldi’s middle aisle on Thursdays and Sundays, so you’ll get your pick of the products if you head to the store then or check what’s coming online.
But every two weeks, Aldi also picks six of its favourites to offer shoppers fruit and veg at low prices.
The prices don’t change over the two weeks that the offer is live so really you can cash in at any time – though what’s on offer will change every fortnight.
But if you want to be sure to get the best of the bunch, then heading to the store at the start of the week to pick the freshest items won’t hurt.
Yellow stickers are the key to a successful shop for most customers, and Aldi has its own version of labelled bargains too.
Aldi shoppers should look out for red stickers on products instead.
Workers usually put them on to show something is reduced, either because the packaging is damaged or it’s about to go out of date.
You can often save up to 75% off products marked up in this way in Aldi, so it’s worth keeping an eye out in the store.
And remember, it’s always worth writing a list before heading out to your nearest branch.
That way you’ll be less inclined to make any rash purchases which could see costs rack up.
