In his recent YouTube video, Andy explained the concept of “shopping around” while buying to get the best insurance quote.

While it may sound silly, exploring other options to compare and choose the best price can actually reduce the price of a car, and its insurance – claimed the car enthusiast.

He added: “It is a lot better to go somewhere else if you are not getting the best price on your purchase.

“Visiting more than one dealership while buying a car, or website in case of insurance, will definitely get you cheaper quotes.”

Andy stressed how people act lazy when it comes to buying a car or insurance –  and just go with the first option thrown at them.

However, just putting in a bit of extra work and comparing a variety of options can significantly help discover the best deal – claimed Andy.

He said: “It can feel like extra work but going to various dealerships and visiting a couple of more websites can potentially save you a wedge of money – sometimes worth a fortune.

To sum it up – not accepting the first deal and exploring a few more options around can help you save a lot of money, according to Andy

In another video, Andy Rogerson revealed the single biggest problem in the 2024 Tesla Model 3 facelift.

He starts by singing praises about Tesla EVs – especially the Model 3, but soon drops what he thinks is a disastrous decision Tesla made with the Highland facelift.

It is the indicator switches of the car, which have now become click buttons on the yolk-style steering instead of regular stalks.

Andy points out how it can be a massive issue while driving on a road in the UK.
