BUKAYO SAKA has reported to England duty amid injury concern.

The winger missed Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Manchester City yesterday due to a hamstring issue.

After the win, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta claimed he was not fit enough to represent the Three Lions against Australia and Italy.

The Spaniard said: “No, he will not make it. He has not trained for a single session.

“He is not available to play football at the moment.”

However, Saka has turned up at England training ahead of games versus Australia and Italy.

England manager Gareth Southgate said last week: “I’ve never ever taken a risk on a player’s physical wellbeing, and nor would I.”

Saka strolled into St George’s Park alongside the likes of club team-mates Aaron Ramsdale and Declan Rice.

The midfielder warmly greeted North London rival James Maddison with a big hug.

Recalled duo Jarrod Bowen and Ollie Watkins were also all smiles as they arrived at England’s base.

Both have enjoyed stunning starts to the Premier League season with West Ham and Aston Villa, respectively.

England first face the Aussies at Wembley on Friday night in a friendly.

The Three Lions then welcome Italy as they look to qualify for the Euros this summer.
