Preston youngster Finlay Cross-Adair, 18, rushed to hospital after suffering ‘serious injuries’ in traffic accident

PRESTON have confirmed that young forward Finlay Cross-Adair was rushed to hospital after a traffic incident.

The incident occurred in the evening of October 5.

A statement from the Championship outfit revealed the 18-year-old had been left with “serious injuries” as a result of the accident.

Cross-Adair is currently recovering in hospital.

Preston’s statement added: “The football club will show full support for Finlay and his family during his recovery.

“We will be making no further comment until it is appropriate to do so.”

The teenager made his senior debut for North End in October 2022 and was rewarded with his first professional contract in December that year.

The striker, a boyhood Preston fan, is described as a regular in first-team training after helping the youth team to a League and Cup double in 2021/22.
