Chelsea ready for another mega January transfer splurge as Pochettino eye Premier League striker as well as Osimhen

CHELSEA are ready for another January transfer splurge as Mauricio Pochettino reportedly eyes TWO strikers.

The Argentine ace is keen to get his stuttering side scoring after a poor start to the new campaign.

And the Guardian claims Napoli star Victor Osimhen is high on Poch’s wishlist for January.

The 24-year-old has 64 goals in 109 games for the Italian champs.

There are doubts over his future after Napoli’s bizarre TikTok appearing to mock Osimhen missing a penalty.

And Chelsea could be ready to break the bank for the £100million-rated attacker, despite already spending £1billion under Todd Boehly.

However, there’s also a second striker on Poch’s radar.

And he could be available for a modest sum even though he plays for a Premier League rival

Ivan Toney is currently suspended until January after breaching FA betting rules.

The Brentford star is thought to be considering his future after three fine years in west London.

And after netting 68 goals in 124 games, Toney is also now a target for Chelsea.

He is valued by Brentford at around £60m.

But Chelsea may have to see off interest from Arsenal should they make a bid.

The Gunners are long-term admirers of Toney, who in turn would jump at the chance of an Emirates move.

But Arsenal may have to offload a forward first, with Mikel Arteta well stocked up top.
