I’m a car expert… there’s a hidden feature on your key fob which starts your motor instantly

A CAR expert has revealed a little known way to start a car’s motor without even being in the vehicle.

The salesman, from Gormley Car Sales in Maghera, Northern Ireland, detailed the trick in a Tiktok that’s already garnered 400,000 views.

In the clip, the creator demonstrates the move on a Ford Fiesta and challenges that his viewers “didn’t know this” about their car.

He then moved the camera to prove no one was in the vehicle.

“You can see there’s nobody sitting inside this car, as you can see, not a person inside that car,” he said.

The man produced the Ford’s key fob from his pocket to start the demonstration.

“What we’re going to do is we’re going to press unlock, lock,” he began.

“And then, double unlock holding the last…and there we go.”

Suddenly, the black car’s engine began to rev, indicating the motor had started.

The trick seemed to shock viewers who said their cars had a variety of reactions to the click sequence.

“Doesn’t work on mine, windows just come down,” wrote one user.

“Totally believe you but tried it with my car, a Merc convertible, and the hood and windows started opening,” another added.

The advice comes after another car expert warned which vehicles motorists should avoid buying because they are a complete “bust”.

Another enthusiast took to YouTube to air his grievances about owning a Tesla despite driving the car for just a year.
