Madueke, 21, is working on getting back up to speed having miss out on Chelsea‘s last three games.

Boss Pochettino was not overly concerned by seeing a video of his player partying in Mayfair while out injured.

But the Argentine has claimed that it’s the sort of situation that his players need to avoid.

Speaking ahead of Monday night’s clash at Fulham, Pochettino said: “In my opinion, he is working hard to try and recover.

“He came back from the national break 10 days ago. Now he is well. He is trying to be on the same level as the team.

“This video, we were talking about that, it’s a thing you need to avoid. All of the players need to know that when you are a player of Chelsea, you need to avoid these things.

“It wasn’t a big issue, but we need to avoid these types of situation. He is recovering from the national team and we will see if he is fit.”

Pochettino left Madueke out of his side’s 1-0 win League Cup win over Brighton in mid-week.

But the England youth international could return at Craven Cottage.

Pochettino has won just one of his first six Premier League matches in charge of the Blues.

He has had to deal with a huge number of injuries, with defenders Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah and Ben Chilwell all missing.

New signings Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku are yet to debut for the club, although the latter recently posted an update from his home gym.

Carney Chukwuemeka could return on Monday, although Malo Gusto and Nicolas Jackson will miss out through suspension.
