A MAN was left fuming after his brand new EV run out of battery and was missing a key button.
The driver took to social media to trash on of UK’s most popular electric cars after he realised a major downside.

Motors expert Zero Planet posted a YouTube video explaining the top things he hated about the Polestar 2.
The vehicle, previously dubbed the Swedish Tesla, first appeared on UK roads in 2020 and has now become a popular go-to EV.
The £46,900 car boasts 292 miles of range when fully charged and drivers can reach a top speed of 127mph.
But despite the 78kWh battery, the influencer was not impressed.
On the clip he said: “Here are the things I personally don’t like about this car.
“I’m parked at my college right now and I have 82 per cent battery.
“Surprisingly I spent already eight percent battery just getting from my house to here.”
The car owner claimed he spent a total of 20 per cent of battery by just driving home and back.
But the list of wrongs doesn’t stop there.
Continuing to rubbish the car, he said there is not a “simple” way to preserve the battery.
He claimed there isn’t a button available to completely turn off the vehicle.
The motorist added: “I wish maybe the pulsar logo allowed you to turn it off.
“But it doesn’t, unfortunately you have to go all the way to the screen.”
He then points at the smart panel – which also has a camera – and scroll through various features to finally turn it off.
“All that just to turn the vehicle off to save up a little but of battery. In my opinion a simple key button would suffice,” he slammed.
The content creator was also unimpressed with the interior of the Polestar 2.
He said the trim finish looked too artificial.
The cars enthusiast explained: “I’m not the biggest fan of it. It looks like somebody just cut up the wood and it doesn’t really look that natural.”
The motorist said he even had a major “scare” while driving the car on the highway.
The shocked driver explained: “I was on the freeway I merged two lanes and I didn’t my turn signal because there were no cars.
“And the car kind of jerked me back and it really scared me because I was kind of fighting the car a little bit.”
He said he had to turn the signal on when having the lane keeping aid activated.
The video has gathered more than 5,000 views and dozens of likes – with fellow drivers rushing to the comment section to share their thoughts.
One driver advised the Youtuber to always turn his signal on to avoid the scare.
The user said: “The only way for the car to know you meant to cross the lane markings is by using your turn signal before making the change.
“It’s got no way to detect your intentions otherwise.”
It comes as another EV owner has revealed he was left crying in a car park because his new ride was so frustrating to deal with.
