Conor McGregor barely fits on sun lounger as UFC star shows off hulking new body on holiday with Dee Devlin

CONOR MCGREGOR’s new hulking frame has left him almost unable to fit on a sun lounger.

The Notorious has piled on several pounds of muscle during his 16-month hiatus from the octagon – the result of the horrific broken leg he suffered in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

McGregor looks considerably heavier than he did for his last trip to the octagon, which was apparent during a recent sunny getaway with fiancee Dee Devlin.

Devlin shared a series of snaps of herself and her long-time partner soaking up the sun to her Instagram on Friday morning.

McGregor, 34, looked as if he had wings as his back muscles nearly spanned the full width of the sun lounger.

And followers of the Irish couple were quick to comment on the size of the UFC’s poster boy, with one saying: “Gorilla.”

One asked: “Why the man looking so big?”

Former two-division champion McGregor has jokingly claimed his dramatic body transformation has seen him hit the UFC’s heavyweight limit.

Doing an impromptu Twitter Q&A, he told Yoel Romero: “I don’t know, mate. But big! Big anyway.

“I’d say I’m about 265lbs, yeah! In the bank, I’m heavy in the bank I am.”

Fan favourite McGregor is eyeing a return to the octagon early next year – although he must re-enter the United States Anti-Doping Agency’s testing pool – which he recently left – for six months before being eligible to compete.

The future UFC Hall-of-Famer said: “I’m going to be back soon, hopefully.

“Early 2023 I’m aiming for. Sometime in that first quarter.

“That will give me a good couple of months [to prepare].

“Once I wrap this up in a couple of days, get the camp going [for] a good couple of months. And get going.”
