FOOTBALL fans hailed TNT Sports presenter Laura Woods as she hosted coverage of Manchester City’s Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade.
The 2023/24 edition of Europe’s elite competition got underway on Tuesday evening as TNT Sports broadcast their first Champions League games since changing their name from BT Sport.

And Woods shared a teaser video from Man City‘s dressing room ahead of the show getting underway.
She said: “Hello, good evening. We’re at the Etihad, we’re in the Man City dressing room right now. Kick-off is at eight o’clock.
“We’re on air at seven o’clock tonight because they’re hosting Red Star Belgrade. Do come and join us. We’ve got an hour build-up.
“It’s going to be really, really very exciting. TNT Sports 2, Discover Plus, those are the ways you can watch us.
“See you then.”
Woods then appeared on the broadcast, hosting alongside pundits Rio Ferdinand and Joleon Lescott.

Meanwhile, one other fan was gutted about Woods not hosting AC Milan’s goalless draw with Newcastle earlier on in the evening.
