‘I feel humiliated’: Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard breaks silence on split with fiancé Carl Radke just months before wedding

Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard has broken her silence on her shock split from co-star Carl Radke, after he called off their engagement less than three months before their November wedding.

Hubbard, 37, shared a lengthy statement on Instagram on Friday and said she’s both ‘humiliated’ and ‘heartbroken’.

Radke, 38, reportedly pulled the pin on their romance just two weeks ago, with a source telling ET at the end of last month: “He couldn’t move forward with the wedding.”

“I would like to start by saying thank you for allowing me the space and time to process my emotions, heal, and grieve the loss of not only my relationship, but my friendship with someone I considered my best friend for 8 years,” Hubbard began.

“The last 2 weeks have been the most heartbreaking and emotional weeks of my life. My entire life and future was ripped out from underneath me and I’ve had a hard time making sense of it all – with no answers or closure on why.”

“I feel humiliated by how it went down, and simultaneously heartbroken that it happened in the first place. My trust has been betrayed, and coming to terms with that has been difficult for me.”

Hubbard went on to clarify and confirm reports it was Radke who called off the wedding.

“This was not my decision, and I do not agree with quitting a relationship (at this level) without trying everything possible first,” she wrote.

She thanked the fans, friends, and castmates for their support throughout this difficult time and added: “I am still grieving and trying to process all that has happened, but I felt it was important to update you all.”

ET reported last month that the pair had called off their engagement, and that it was recorded on camera and will play out on the new season of Summer House.

“Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding,” sources told the outlet.

They added: “The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House.”

Adding salt to the wound, Hubbard had only just celebrated her bridal shower two weeks before reports of their split – which her husband-to-be even attended.

They reportedly were set to tie the knot on November 17, 2023. They got engaged in August last year.

The pair first met on Summer House back in 2016, but both had respective relationships, and briefly dated in 2019. They confirmed they were dating again in January last year.
