A TERRIFYING halloween experience is returning to the UK this autumn, with a circus of horrors, fire shows and live performances among a number of creepy attractions.
The annual event has been compared to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, with some saying it’s every bit as good.

Tulley’s Farm in Crawley is a peaceful place most of the year, with sunflower fields and pumpkin patches to take children to.
But it also plays host to Europe‘s largest “scream park” at halloween.
The aptly named Shocktober has become increasingly popular among thrill-seekers and it’s easy to see why.
Its “haunts” feature a variety of sinister characters who will do all they can to terrify visitors in several different scenarios, including the chop shop, the wastelands penitentiary and the island.
Another of the haunts called “Hell-ements” places park-goers into the hands of the ghastly characters running the attraction, as they are blindly led on a journey to hell.
The Shocktober website explains: “You will be shrouded in a cloth hood and guided by the rope of your execution, taunted by the ‘Shades of Hell’ as you journey through the punishing elements of earth, air, fire and water.
“You are condemned and your soul is forever marked.”
The chop shop meanwhile is a particular fan favourite, with Thrillnation writing: “The Chop Shop is a returning haunt and we can see why it does year upon year.
“Usually and still is one of the scariest experiences you can have at Tulley’s, especially if you are scared of chainsaws!”
One visitor wrote on TripAdvisor that Shocktober was as good as any Halloween event they had visited – including much more renowned ones at theme parks in America.
They wrote: “Our group of 5 travelled from East Yorkshire to visit Tulleys Shocktoberfest. Well worth the trip.
“We are all big fans of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios and wondered what to expect here in England as Halloween is so big in America.
“We were not disappointed and quite amazed how Tulleys really rivals HHN.”
In addition to its scares and haunts, Tulleys puts on live music performances, has a Circus of Horrors that “blends horror and burlesque” and has fair rides, food and drink, with characters mingling throughout.
Passes for Shocktoberfest are on sale now and prices start from £42.
Included in the ticket are park entry, all haunts, street theatre, live music, three food courts, two bars and car parking.
Guests are able to visit on selected dates between September 30 and October 31.
Meanwhile, this UK theme park revealed new plans for the biggest and fastest rollercoaster.
And Legoland has launched a Halloween party of its own with overnight stays available.
