SEAN O’MALLEY has revealed that he was left baffled by Conor McGregor’s message after his UFC 292 win.
The American pulled off a huge upset on Saturday night when he beat Aljamain Sterling in Boston.

O’Malley won the bantamweight title via a knockout in the second round.
He was congratulated on victory by McGregor, who reached out to him a few days after his win.
O’Malley told Pat McAfee that the 35-year-old slid into his DMs, saying: “‘Baby we did it.’
“And I said: ‘We sure f****** did. You main eventing in December, I’m co-main eventing?’
“All he replied was, ‘shot caller.’
“I don’t know what that means, but I feel like I kinda do so I’m hoping that’s a yes in f****** Irish.”
There is a chance McGregow will return to the UFC octagon at the end of this year with a clash against Micheal Chandler on the table.
O’Malley is a huge fan of the Notorious and previously cited him as one of his idols.
He said: “I’ve watched every single interview he’s ever done. I’ve watched all of his fights, multiple times.
“He’s definitely inspired me a ton. The way he carries himself. The way he handles pressure. The way he goes into these big fights. I’ve learned a lot from him.”
O’Malley has called out Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera for a rematch after he beat him in 2020.
However, the Ecuadorian may not be as keen for a second bout as he said: “I think if you dream or think about something that is behind you, you’re a fool, so I really don’t give a f*** about the guy.”
