AS the heatwave continues, shoppers will be able to feast their eyes on free ice cream this week.
The frozen sweet treat can be a great way to cool down during the hot weather but costs can add up.
TopCashback is giving people the chance to get their ice creamAlamy
Luckily, new members to TopCashback will be able to grab themselves a free ice cream this week.
But you’ll need to be quick as the offer is only available from today (September 8) until 23:59pm September 11.
To get one, all you need to do is buy an ice cream worth up to £4, but keep the receipt.
Then simply sign up to TopCashback through this link here, take a photo of your receipt, and upload it to your account.
You can do so by clicking “submit receipt” and following the instructions.
You’ll then receive £4 cash back and it’ll be added to your account within seven working days.
Your purchase will need to cost a minimum of £2 in order to qualify.
All ice creams are eligible for this deal including those purchased from ice cream vans and supermarkets, as long as it’s no more than £4.
For example, a pack of four Cadbury’s Caramilk lollies costs £3.50 at Tesco.
While a pack of Solero ice lollies currently costs £2.75 at Sainsbury’s.
How else can I save money on food and drink?

Free gifts can change regularly so do check online to see what is being offered before you sign up.
It’s a good idea to download apps Shopmium, Check-outSmart, Quidco ClickSnap, GreenJinn and TopCashback’s Snap and Save.
Check out what is available, pick it up in-store and upload a photo of the receipt to get your cashback.
Many supermarkets have loyalty schemes and coupons that can give shoppers the chance to get some rewards after a few weeks or months.
And there is always the opportunity to look for stickered items at the end of the day, but there is also a little-known way you can get free and discounted food in minutes by downloading apps like Too Good To Go.
This allows you to rescue end-of-day food from cafes, supermarkets and restaurants that would otherwise go in the bin.
You can also get cashback on other essentials, not just food and drink.
You can claim on things such as MOTs, insurance, train tickets and holidays.
It is worth looking around and what companies offer cashback schemes as you could be earning hundreds.
TopCashback reckons its average user makes £345 a year.
