Luton ‘want to complete shock deadline day transfer of Donny van de Beek as Man Utd fight to offload TWO more flops’

MANCHESTER UNITED outcast Donny van de Beek is wanted by Luton, according to reports.

The Red Devils are hoping to offload multiple fringe players as they close in on the signing of Sofyan Amrabat.

Van de Beek has been linked with an exit for much of the summer but no club has been willing to match United’s £20m asking price.

However Luton are interested and could look to strike a late deal for the Dutchman, according to The Independent.

Galatasaray, who are in United’s Champions League group, are reportedly looking at Van de Beek, as are Lorient.

While Scott McTominay could also make a last-ditch transfer with Fulham monitoring his situation.

Joao Palhinha looks set to swap Craven Cottage for Bayern Munich and Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been identified as his replacement.

But with the midfielder stalling over a move it is understood Fulham could turn to McTominay, who was linked to West Ham earlier this summer.

United have had a busy transfer deadline day after wrapping up a deal to sign goalkeeper Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce.

Amrabat could make a later arrival amid reports the Red Devils have sent a private jet to Italy to collect the midfielder.

United are still yet to agree a fee with Fiorentina to sign the 27-year-old after seeing a loan bid rejected earlier this week.

Amrabat has reportedly rejected the likes of Fulham and Nottingham Forest to push through a move to Old Trafford.
