Wingstop could save chicken fans some moneyAlamy

Foodies can order online via the Wingstop app or through Uber Eats and Deliveroo.

If you live near a restaurant you can also order in-store.

And KFC fans looking to save a bit of cash could use Wingstop as an alternative.

For example, when ordering via Deliveroo for collection in Staines, a box of eight wings at Wingstop costs £8.75.

While at KFC, a box of its eight wings will cost £12.99 – that’s over a £4 saving.

Meanwhile, three chicken tenders at Wingstop in South West London will cost shoppers £5.75.

In comparison, KFC has one chicken fillet will cost £2.49 – times that by three and that’s £7.47.

That’s a £1.72 saving for foodies.

On top of that, Wingstop also sells a selection of items that KFC doesn’t.

For example, customers can get loaded fries with buffalo ranch sauce for £5.50.

Sweet treat lovers can also pick up a box of six churros for £5.95 or a box of 10 for £6.95.

But it doesn’t stop there with cheaper versions of our favorite brands.

If you’re a fan of Nando’s, then Roosters might be a cheaper option.

It runs over 45 restaurants across Europe and the Middle East, including in LondonDublin and even Oman.

The food business blends flavours from across the globe, including Portugal, Lebanon and Latin America.

But its the peri-peri chicken that has seen the chain likened to its bigger rival Nando’s – and it could cost you less.

A half chicken with fries and drink at Roosters is priced at £12 whereas the same meal at Nando’s will set you back around £14.

Meanwhile, a grilled chicken wrap at Roosters will set you back £7 and £7.75 from Nando’s.

A regular-size coleslaw costs £1.50 at Roosters whereas Nando’s sells theirs for £3.75, more than double the price.
