‘Where does that leave me?’: Lottie Moss’ admission on supermodel sister Kate Moss

Lottie Moss has spoken candidly about her relationship with her supermodel sister, Kate Moss.

Lottie, 25, admitted on E4’s Celebs Go Dating that she feels “quite abandoned” by the 49-year-old and said she struggles being “constantly compared” to her famous sibling.

“I kind of know where this problem stems from. I’ve felt quite abandoned by my sister and we’ve not had a very good relationship for quite a few years,” she said during a therapy session on the hit show.

“Every person’s house I go to they have some sort of Kate Moss poster, Kate Moss book, Kate Moss Diet Coke can, and everyone brings her up.

“I’ve felt for a very long time that nothing I did was ever going to be as good as what she’s done.”

She added: “I can’t top that, so where does that leave me?”

Lottie, who played bridesmaid at Kate’s 2011 wedding to Jamie Hince, shares the same father as Kate and has followed in her modelling footsteps.

Earlier this month, Lottie told The Sun that the pair aren’t close.

“Me and my sister have never been close. There is a big age gap.”

“She doesn’t have to want to have a relationship with me,” she added.

“When I was younger, I couldn’t understand it. I thought: “Why is someone in my family not wanting a relationship with me? I don’t get it.”

This is not the first time Lottie has revealed that she and Kate have somewhat of a fractured relationship. Writing for Glamour UK last year, the model revealed she struggled with being typecast as Kate’s little sister.

“Especially being Kate Moss’s sister, I was immediately thrown in the spotlight, and I always felt like I was living in her shadow,” Lottie told the publication.

“That was really hard for me growing up, especially not being that close with my sister (we still don’t really have a relationship now, which is something I never really speak about).”
