PRIMARK is rolling out bargain designer clothes to more stores within hours.
A WornWell concession containing pre-loved branded and non-branded clothing will open in Newcastle’s Primark store on Friday.

The same offer will then be expanded to Glasgow’s Argyle Street store later this year.
The concessions allow shoppers to get their Primark hauls and bag preloved clothing all under one roof.
The fast-fashion chain partnered with The Vintage Wholesale Company last August to launch the offering.
The retailer unveiled the first WornWell concession in its flagship Birmingham store in August 2023,
But it has since branched out into Primark locations in Manchester, Oxford Street East, Bristol, and Cardiff, as well as two Dublin-based stores in Ireland.
Shoppers have raved about the offer and fans of vintage clothing can get their hands on items from big brands like Nike, Dr Martens and Levi.
The concessions also allow shoppers to bag posh designer labels which are often restricted to the wealthier in society.
The Sun visited Primark’s WornWell concession on London’s Oxford Street in October.
We couldn’t believe our eyes when we even spotted Christian Dior ties for just £20.
We also spotted Ralph Lauren sweaters for just £35.
But there’s no guarantee that your local one will have gems like this as it all depends on what stock is donated.
The in-store concessions have launched at a time when apps such as Depop and Vinted have increased in popularity.
These have made it easier than ever for people to make money by selling their second-hand clothes or reselling clothing they’ve bought as a side hustle.
We spoke to two savvy shoppers who revealed how they bought a T-shirt for £2 from a charity shop – but resold it for £220 online.
However, Primark’s WornWell concessions are ideal for shoppers who opt for charity shops and prefer trying on pre-loved clothing in-store.
This is the only downside to purchasing second-hand clothing online and through apps.
Tim Kelly, director of new business development at Primark said: “We are delighted to be expanding our partnership with the Vintage Wholesale Company to bring WornWell to two more UK stores this year, starting with Newcastle this week.
“At Primark, we’re always looking to partner with brands that our customers will love to ensure they have the best in-store experience possible, and this expansion is testament to just how successful the unique styles at WornWell have been with our shoppers.
“By the end of this year, WornWell will be in 10 Primark stores across the UK and Ireland, offering customers even more reasons to visit their local store.”
In other news, Primark is opening a brand new 29,700-square foot store in the old British Home Stores (BHS) building at the Old George Mall in Salisbury, on September 13.
The retailer has also continued rolling-out self-service checkouts in a number of stores to help reduce queuing times.
They were first rolled out at sites in Sheffield, Northampton, West Bromwich and Kingston as part of a trial in autumn 2022.
Since last year the chain has been introducing the self-scan tills to further shops, and you can find them at nine in total so far.
The latest five include Coventry, Slough, Edinburgh, Basingstoke and Milton Keynes Shopping Park.
But the new tills are certainly a divisive topic and not everyone is happy, with several expressing their annoyance on social media.
