The Uruguayan winger has been linked with a loan move to Sheffield United but remains in Manchester ahead of Saturday’s match.

United have made a slow start to the new Premier League season.

After labouring to a 1-0 opening win against Wolves, the Red Devils were beaten by Spurs last weekend.

Their performances have even prompted Ten Hag to call up four under-21 players ahead of the visit of Forest.

Forest are set to travel to Old Trafford this weekend, with their hosts potentially having a new look starting line-up.

Ten Hag made changes in training this week due to his side’s slow start and an injury to Mason Mount.

The England midfielder is set to be sidelined until after the international break.

Hannibal Mejbri, Isak Hansen-Aaroen, Omari Forson and Marc Jurado were all called up to first-team training ahead of the Forest match.

Although Hannibal has made three Premier League appearances, the other three youngsters are yet to make their senior United debuts.

Norwegian midfielder Hansen-Aaroen only turned 19 on Tuesday but has been with United since signing from Tromso in 2020.

Forson is also 19 and can play on either wing as well as in attacking midfield.

The England youth international joined United in 2019 after spells in the academies at West Ham and Spurs.

As for Jurado, he was named on the bench for the trip to Forest last season.

Another 19-year-old, the Spanish right-back was signed from Barcelona three years ago.

All four players could come into the side this weekend as Ten Hag looks to blend youth and experience to spark a reaction from his players.
