Fans are giving their current stadium a farewell campaign with them ready to leave their home after 132 years.
The 39,414 seater will be switched for a more modern 52,888 capacity arena.
Work has restarted at the new stadium after a 26-year-old construction worker named Micheal Jones died in a tragic accident while building it.
Construction was paused for nine days following the death of Jones, who supported the football club set to move in.
The new ground is built on the docks of the city next to a waster water treatment plant.
It is only two miles up the road from their spiritual home.
Borussia Dortmund‘s iconic yellow wall has inspired the 13,000-seater stand that will host the club’s most passionate fans.
The new stadium is also expected to become the heart of an exciting new area for the community containing shops, housing and bars and restaurants.
