Another One Bites the Dust! Classic Queen track cut from new greatest hits compilation to cater to a younger audience

Queen’s smash single Fat Bottomed Girls has been cut from a new Greatest Hits compilation because it’s been dubbed too racy for a younger audience.

The song, released in 1978 by the British rock band, features lyrics including: “Are you gonna let it all hang out? Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin’ world go round.”

As reported by The Telegraph, the new compilation has been released by Universal Music on the platform Yoto, which is aimed at children and a younger audience.

Tracks in the playlist include their hits Bohemian Rhapsody, You’re My Best Friend, Killer Queen and We Will Rock You.

There is also a content warning accompanying the track list that reads: “Please note that the lyrics in some of these songs contain adult themes, including occasional references to violence and drugs.”

“These are the original and unedited recordings. Whilst no swear words are used parental discretion is advised when playing this content to or around younger children.”

The song originally reached no. 11 in the UK when it was first released and was even included on a Greatest Hits album by Queen.

Queen was formed in London in 1970 and was fronted by the late Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991.

It featured Mercury on vocals, Brian May on guitar and vocals, Roger Taylor on drums and vocals and John Deacon on bass.

Queen, considered by one of the greatest rock bands of all time, is known for hits including I Want to Break Free, Another One Bites the Dust and Love of My Life.

In March, May was made a Knight Bachelor by King Charles for his services to music and charity.
