He will join up with City’s under-16 side, with plans in place for him to sign a professional deal once he turns 17 in 2026.

Noubissie announced his arrival on social media as he shared a snap of himself posing with a City shirt.

“Happy to announce that I have signed for Man City,” wrote the youngster.

“Proud moment for me and my family. It is a privilege to become part of such an incredible club. Can’t wait to get started.”

According to L’Equipe, the signing of Noubissie is part of City’s focus to recruit young players with high potential.

They had to compete to land his signature, with Chelsea, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Newcastle and Arsenal all said to have made approaches.

City are understood to have been impressed with his work rate in midfield, with Noubissie putting in performances beyond his year.

Born in Livingston, the teenager is eligible for several national teams, namely Scotland, England, Cameroon and France.
