The England captain completed a medical at Bayern Munich after jetting out to Germany on Friday with wife Kate.

He has put pen to paper on a four-year deal worth a reported £415,000 a week – more than double his Spurs salary.

Kane, 30, is expected to take part in Bayern’s German Super Cup clash against RB Leipzig on Saturday evening.

Bayern had multiple bids rejected by Spurs before agreeing a £104m fee.

After weighing up his options Kane agreed to the move and was set to fly out to Munich on Friday morning, only for Tottenham to refuse permission as they wanted to renegotiate finer details of the deal.

Those issues were ironed out and the striker set off for his new home on Friday afternoon.

He leaves Spurs as the club’s record goalscorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances.

Kane, 30, netted 213 Premier League goals which leaves him 47 shy of Alan Shearer’s record of 260.
