If you nip down to your local branch you’ll find a printed heeled court shoe on the shelf.

The light brown and beige slingbacks are the perfect alternative for the Gucci shoe which costs £580.

River Island is selling the dupe for just £45 and from afar no-one would be able to tell the difference.

The only major change in the River Island shoe is the gold buckle and red strap on the front.

Its heel is also slightly taller as the Gucci is more of a kitten heel.

The store is also offering a black version which don’t have the River Island logo on.

The Gucci shoe is described as an “archive of the ’90s and early ‘2000s”.

On the Gucci website, the full product descriptions for the heels reads: “The Gucci Aria collection takes references from the archives of the ’90s and early ‘2000s, with pieces inspired from Tom Ford’s era in Gucci.

“The new idea of femininity shows glamorous details, such as lace, crystals and sheer fabrics.

“This pair of slingback shoes are presented in beige and ebony Original GG canvas for a strong logo feel.”

It comes after M&S dropped a dupe for the lavish Hermes handbag.

Shoppers have been sent into a frenzy over the designer bag dupe that comes in two colours.

The faux leather bag comes in brown and black featuring gold hardware in a similar style to the classic Hermès lock.

The bags also come with a sturdy top handle and a cross-body strap with similar white stitching to the original bag.

But luckily, the bag doesn’t have the same price tag, at £39.50 you will save £41,370 compared to the original Mini Kelly tote advertised on FarFetch.
