PSG ramp up Kylian Mbappe transfer war by removing giant mural of star from stadium and his shirts from club shop

PSG have removed a giant mural of wantaway legend Kylian Mbappe from their stadium and stopped selling his shirts.

The Ligue 1 champions took the ugly stand-off with their star man to a new level amid claims he has agreed a deal with Real Madrid.

Real are tipped to beat Saudi clubs to the Frenchman’s signature, with PSG preferring to sell him before he’s available for free next summerRex

Mbappe, 24, was ordered to train with the B team on Monday after declining to extend his contract beyond summer.

Now PSG want at least £250million for the France striker, rather than allowing him to leave for free next year.

Real remain strong favourites to sign him. despite a reported offer of an incredible £11.6m a week by Saudi club Al-Hilal.

Construction workers on a crane stripped off a massive image – mainly of Mbappe – from the side of the Parc Des Princes venue.

And PSG’s response to their dispute with arguably the world’s best player was just as stinging inside the ground.

Mbappe’s shirt can no longer be seen in the club shop despite his five successful seasons with the French giants.

That appears to be a huge snub when you consider the tops of Neymar and Lionel Messi are still for sale.

PSG’s Brazil icon Neymar, 31, has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United after indicating he too wants a summer move.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues are understood to still be in talks over signing the former Barcelona hero.

And if Neymar does stay put in this transfer window, Sheikh Jassim will target him for Old Trafford – providing the Qatar banker wins his takeover battle.

Meanwhile, seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi departed PSG for Inter Miami in June after admitting he was “not happy in France”.

The World Cup-winning Argentinian, 36, claimed his two years in Paris affected his family life, persuading him to switch to the MLS.

But it seems Messi’s kit is still a hit with PSG club chiefs and fans – unlike that of feuding Mbappe.
