And manager Hodgson has admitted that Olise, 21, will make the decision on his future.

He told Sky Sports: “No one knows at this moment.

“If there are clubs desperately preparing a bid and tempting him then he’ll decide.

“I can only wait and see what decision he will make, he knows we want to keep him.”

The comments from the veteran boss come after Olise has attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester City.

City have been linked with the Frenchman as a potential replacement for Riyad Mahrez.

Whereas Chelsea are thought to have made a £26million offer for the winger.

Although this bid will likely be rejected with Palace set to demand that his release clause of £35m be matched.
