It truly doesn’t feel like a year since we watched Hamish Blake take home the Gold Logie, but somehow the Aussie entertainment industry’s big night is upon us once again.
This year, the Logies are being held in Sydney for the first time since 1986, and the stars are out in force ahead of the ceremony.

Several big names are up for awards tonight, including Blake, who is once again nominated for the Gold Logie, and The Block‘s Scott Cam is nominated for Most Popular Presenter.
Also in the running for Logies are shows including A Current Affair, Lego Masters, Love Island Australia and Underbelly: Vanishing Act.

Preparations underway
With a red carpet event comes plenty of preparation.
Just ask Rush host David Genat and Rebecca Harding, who’ve both hit the gym ahead of the ceremony.
Genat joked that he was working out to ensure he wouldn’t be able to fit into his suit, adding, “stylists love him”.
Meanwhile, Jayne Azzopardi had us doing a double take.
The Nine presenter teased fans with a dramatic new look, posting an Instagram Story of herself with long, flowing extensions and asking “should I?”
Alas, she opted for her shorter hair, but seemed to be getting a quick snip ahead of the red carpet:
