Bailly, 29, is said to be a “must-sell” for United this summer, with Ten Hag not including him in his plans.
And fans have now been left speculating over his departure after a post to his Instagram story.
Bailly shared a picture of him leaving United’s Carrington training ground posing with a thumb up alongside the caption: “Done.”
Reacting to the image, most fans saw it as an indication that the Ivorian would soon be seeing the back of United once and for all.
One user wrote on Twitter: “Done at United yh.”
A second said: “He’s Leaving,” while a third responded: “Bye my G .”
Many fans were left cursing his poor injury record, with one declaring: “If only he wasn’t injury prone… amazing defender.”
Another added: “Had the potential to be world-class! shame it didn’t work for him!.”

Meanwhile, other fans declared there was nothing behind the post other than him making it through a training session.
One fan reacted: “Probably means him finishing a training session. Nothing in it.”
While a second fan joked: “He’s spent more time at Carrington in the treatment room than playing at Old Trafford.
“Fitting his photo is like he’s just been discharged from the hospital with his hospital bag .”
Bailly originally joined United in 2016 from Villarreal and has played in 113 games across his injury-ridden spell in the Premier League.
He spent last season on loan at Marseille where he made 17 Ligue 1 appearances but was labelled a must-sell this summer alongside Alex Telles.
Telles has already sealed his departure, heading to Saudi Arabia to join Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Al-Nassr for a paltry fee of £4million.
Despite his injury troubles, Bailly’s outlandish personality is likely to see him fondly remembered by fans.
This includes his bromance with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the moments of jaw-dropping disbelief he would conjure midmatch.
