THERE’S a chicken shop you’ve probably never heard of and fans say it is better than KFC.
Slim Chickens is an American fast food chain that sells a selection of fried chicken meals.

It first launched in the deep south of America in 2003 before making its away across the pond in February 2020.
There are now 40 restaurants across the country in locations such as Wolverhampton, Leeds, Bournemouth and Belfast.
Fast food fans can pick up a host of meals from Slim Chickens, including chicken tenders, sandwiches and wings.
Like with many restaurants there’s an option to make your choice a meal by adding fries and a drink.
And fans of Slim Chickens have claimed it is even better than fast food chicken giant KFC.
Taking to social media, one customer wrote: “My daughter said that’s way better than KFC too.”
While another simply tweeted: “Slim Chickens >>>>> KFC.”
And another said: “This place really gives KFC a run for its money but offers a broader spectrum of chicken.”
Fried chicken fans may want to try Slim Chickens for themselves, though bear in mind that you might have to pay more than what you would at KFC.
For example, a chicken sandwich meal, which includes a burger, fries and drink, from Slim Chickens will set you back £12.45.
At KFC however, you’d be paying £7.99 for its very similar filet burger meal.
A bucket which includes 10 hot wings, fries and a drink t KFC will cost you £9.99.
In comparison, a 10 wing meal, which comes with 10 chicken wings, fries and a drink will cost you £17.99 at Slim Chickens.
Prices will vary from store to store and depending on whether you ordered in a restaurant or over a delivery app.
Both Slim Chickens and KFC can be ordered via the Uber Eats and Deliveroo app so do consider any delivery costs as well.
