Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend Erica Herman has dropped her lawsuit, filed in October 2022, against a trust owned by the golfer.
The lawsuit saw Herman, who was in a relationship with the golfer for six years, claiming he threw her out of his home after they split last year despite an “oral tenancy agreement” they had made.
The lawsuit alleged the trust owned by the 47-year-old violated the Florida Residential Landlord Tenant Act by breaking the oral agreement, and sought damages “in excess” of $US30 million ($44.3 million), according to court filings.

Herman has now dismissed her complaint without prejudice “pending the resolution” of her appeal in a more recent complaint, aimed at nullifying a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that the 38-year-old said required “confidential arbitration in all disputes between” Herman and Woods.
The NDA was signed in August 2017, according to the court filing, but Herman believes it is “invalid and unenforceable”.

In the NDA case, Herman is still waiting on the court’s determination of whether her claims are subject to compelled arbitration, court records show.
CNN has reached out to attorneys for Woods and Herman for comment regarding the dropping of the $US30 million ($44.3 million) lawsuit.
The October filing had alleged that Woods’ Jupiter Island Irrevocable Homestead Trust unlawfully brought Herman’s tenancy at the couple’s property on the Hobe Sound, Florida, to an end.
Court documents said Herman alleged Woods and his trust used “trickery” to push her out of the house and that his trust members went so far as to convince her to go on vacation in order to get her to leave.
Specifically, the lawsuit claimed “agents of the defendant” told Herman to “pack a suitcase for a short vacation” but “when she arrived at the airport, they told her she had been locked out of her residence, in violation of the oral tenancy agreement and in violation of Florida law”.
It claimed lawyers for the trust were on hand to “confront” Herman with “proposals to resolve the wrongdoing they were in the midst of committing”.
The documents further claimed that Woods’ trust members removed Herman’s personal belongings from the home and took $US40,000 ($60,700) in cash that belonged to her before making “scurrilous and defamatory allegations about how she obtained the money”.
Herman had pushed back against Woods, claiming that the pair had an “oral agreement” that she could live at the home for 11 years.
She still had five years remaining per the alleged agreement when Woods decided to end their relationship last year.
Herman was first employed by Woods in 2015 before engaging with him romantically, and served as the general manager of his flagship restaurant, The Woods, in Jupiter, Florida.
Woods claimed that he provided Herman with “lodging and financial support” after their messy breakup.
