Georgia Stanway was born on January 3, 1999, and is from Barrow-in-Furness, England.

She has three brothers and grew up playing football with them from a very young age.

Georgia started playing football aged three and was training with her brothers in an under-7 team.

She continued playing for boys’ teams until she turned 13.

As a schoolgirl, she represented Cumbria Schoolgirls in the English School’s Football Association tournaments at the regional level.

She competed at regional levels for two years in a row from 2013 until 2014.

Despite the team losing all their games, Georgia was selected for the England Schoolgirls under-15 international squad.

The newly-formed squad won the Bob Docherty Cup in 2014 and Georgia was the only player to score in all their matches.
