Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have reportedly secretly separated after two years of marriage.
The Breathin singer, 30, and her luxury real estate agent husband, 27, allegedly separated in January and “have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship” since then, according to a source who spoke with People.
Rumours that the couple were going through a rough patch have been swirling for months as Grande had been in London filming the adaptation of the musical Wicked.

Similarly, just yesterday, the singer was snapped at Wimbledon not wearing her wedding ring.
“Ariana and Dalton have been having some issues for months now,” another insider told Us Weekly. “They were having issues before she left for Wicked filming [in London] that they couldn’t resolve, and the distance did not help. They haven’t been speaking and are separated, and a divorce is likely.”
However, it is also reported that earlier this year in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage, Gomez flew out to London to see Grande but reportedly that was not enough to fix the couple’s issues.

“They came to the decision together,” a third insider revealed to Page Six. “They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.”
This is not the first time Grande has sparked separation rumours. Last August, the singer filmed a makeup tutorial on TikTok and fans were quick to ask why she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring.
“I’m just not wearing my wedding ring, it’s getting cleaned. I’m not getting a divorce before you start, don’t,” she said at the time.

In May of this year, on the couple’s second wedding anniversary, Grande posted to Instagram sharing a snap of the pair on their wedding day along with the simple caption: “2.”
By that point, if reports are to be believed, it seems the couple would have already been separated. Neither Grande nor Gomez themselves have confirmed split reports.
Gomez and Grande first publicly confirmed their relationship in May 2020 when they appeared together in Grande and Justin Bieber’s Stuck with U music video.

Gomez proposed to Grande in December 2020 with a diamond ring featuring a pearl that once belonged to her grandmother.
The couple then got married in a secret ceremony in May 2021 at her Montecito home.
“It was tiny and intimate – less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love,” her rep told People at the time of the nuptials. “The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
