The beaches in Italy can get very crowded, but there are still some secluded spots where holidaymakers can relax in peace.
There’s a little-known gem in Europe that has a swimming pool with sea views
Tucked away on the Italian island of Ischia, Hotel Club Scanella has been described as “pure perfection” and “heaven” by several holidaymakers.
Taking to TikTok, Natalie Alysa, who is known as nataliealysa on the social media platform, posted a video detailing her day spent at the quiet seaside spot.
In the footage, which has had over one million views on TikTok, two holidaymakers can be seen relaxing by the sea.
One of the holidaymakers can be seen sunbathing on a sunlounger, while another person can be spotted floating in the infinity pool.
Both the pool and the sunbeds overlook the crystal-clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
A caption over the video read: “So, I think I found paradise in Italy.”
In the comments, Natalie revealed that she was at Hotel Club Scanella on the island of Ischia.
She said: “I think we just went on a not-very busy day, people know about it, and it’s attached to a hotel.”
The holidaymaker revealed that she paid €35 (£30) for two chairs and a parasol, which works out to £15 per person.
While some users found the price to be too steep, others were very impressed with the secluded beach spot.
One person wrote: “Love this place, it’s literally heaven!”
Another added: “This is my dream.”
A third person said: “[This is] so beautiful.”
The secluded spot is part of Hotel Club Scanella on the southern side of the island.
Hotel guests have access to all of the five warm water pools including two indoor ones, which both have a whirlpool.
Holidaymakers who aren’t staying at the resort hotel can rent a spot at one of the three outdoor pools.
To reach the island, Brits will need to fly to the port city of Naples in Italy.
Ryanair, Wizzair, easyJet, and British Airways operate direct flights to Naples with prices starting from £21 per person.
From there, holidaymakers will need to take a ferry from Naples to Ischia.
Ferries rides take 90 minutes and cost €22 (£17) for a full-paying adult who is also a foot passenger.
If you don’t want to hop on a plane to find a secluded beach spot, then you’ll be pleased to know that there’s an amazing hidden beach in the UK, which can only be reached by rocky tunnels.
And Devon has another secret beach cove that only locals know about – here’s how to find it.
