Embarrassed fan left ‘blushing’ at Wimbledon final as BBC commentator laughs ‘he’s been so had there’

The legendary Djokovic was growing more and more frustrated after falling behind to his 20-year-old Spanish opponent.

And he had already had a row with umpire Fergus Murphy over time clocks when he hit a double fault.

One of the balls then bounced into the crowd as a male spectator tried to grab it and get himself a keepsake.

But the eagle-eyed umpire spotted him and shouted: “Sir, can you throw that ball back? Thanks.”

Then the BBC commentator then hilariously chipped in with: “Yeah before you stick it in your bag. He’s been so had there.”

Meanwhile, Djokovic’s frustrations with Murphy threatened to boil over midway through the tense third set of the Wimbledon final against Alcaraz.

The first two sets produced some stunning tennis, with each man claiming one apiece.

The Serbian, chasing a 24th Grand Slam, won the first 6-1 before Alcaraz triumphed 7-6 (6).

The Spaniard then won the third 6-1, but his rival was not a happy man.

Djokovic was already a break down as he headed into what turned out to be an incredible 27-minute game that featured seven break points.

The icon, 36, appeared to be growing more and more annoyed by the official and the rowdy Centre Court crowd.

He appeared to be using up all of his service clock, and at one point he was given a time violation.

Then, during the fourth game of the third set, he noticed that the timer had started earlier than he thought it should have been.

Djokovic marched straight towards the umpire and said: “You have to wait until I get the towel.

Umpire Murphy replied: “We don’t wait till you get the towel. When you pass the baseline, we call the score.”

However, that only appeared to annoy Djokovic even more, who had now come to confront the official, and said: “What do you mean?

“I cannot get the towel from the ball kid so I have to go myself and get the towel. Why do you… how do you?”

Djokovic then paused as the crowd jeered and heckled him, before he angrily added: “If I am not able to get the towel from the ballkid, I have to get towel but you start the time.

“How is that… You do it for everybody? Procedure?”
