SPECTATORS reeled in horror as a wheel flew off a car and into the crowd at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Amazingly no-one was seriously hurt despite a rear wheel spinning off a Jaguar, hurtling hundreds of metres and then rear up into the packed rows of fans behind the barriers.

A Goodwood statement said: “Following the incident on the hillclimb we’re pleased to confirm that there were no serious injuries and those involved were able to go back to enjoying the event.”
It’s thought two people might have suffered minor injuries.
An initial statement from Goodwood read: “An incident has occurred on the hillclimb.
“Thanks for your patience as we assess the situation and prioritise the wellbeing of the people involved. We’ll provide further updates as soon as we can.”
