‘Feels good’: Jamie Foxx’s sweet encounter with fan after mysterious health battle

Jamie Foxx has confirmed he “feels good” following his recent health emergency during a heartwarming encounter with a fan.

The actor, who was hospitalised in April, was spotted surprising a woman in Chicago by returning a purse she’d lost earlier in the day.

A fan posted footage of the encounter to Instagram showing Foxx, 55, stepping into a car, gesturing to the group and appearing to say “saved your purse baby.”

As he drives away, the fans thank him and try to come to terms with their shock.

“Mom lost her bag in Chicago today Jamie fox found it and brought it to her and he said he feels good y’all god is good,” the fan captioned the video.

In the clip, others driving by the scene stop to ask who the man in the fancy black SUV is. When the fans confirm it’s Foxx, onlookers share their excitement.

The interaction comes only one day after the Django Unchained star was seen boating on the Chicago River on Sunday afternoon (Monday in Australia), looking healthy, smiling and waving to a group of boaters who cheered him on.

The Oscar winner later tweeted a plug for his bourbon and wrote, “Boat life 🦊 Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn Stay blessed!”

A source close to Foxx’s camp later told People he’s “doing great” and “taking it easy” after his hospitalisation.

“He’s not really having any visitors or anything like that yet but he’s doing really really well,” the source told the outlet.

The boating trip marked the star’s first public appearance since April, when the star suffered an undisclosed medical incident while filming a new movie that landed him in hospital.

No further information about the incident has been provided.
