Man Utd agreed to sign him when he was aged just 14 and waited until he turned 16 to bring him over to England.

The likes of Antony and Lisandro Martinez were spotted at Carrington yesterday but are thought to be recovering from injuries.

Fred, Jadon Sancho and Dean Henderson were also in attendance amid rumours all three could leave.

Stars like Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro have been given an extended holiday due to them featuring in last month’s international matches.
