Mount has taken the No.7 shirt following for the Red Devils following the end of his 18-year stint at Chelsea.
But during his time as a youngster at the Blues, he revealed that he copies his free-kick style off of Ronaldo’s technique.
In a clip showing a young Mount with floppy hair, he says: “I try to base my free-kick on Ronaldo.
“Hit the ball by the valve and it moves. That is all you do. Top corner and top bins.”
The video then jumps to Mount taking a free-kick and he perfectly pulls off the technique as he sends the ball flying into the top corner.
And United fans were left loving the comments from Mount as they reacted on social media.
One Tweeted: “Following in his idol footsteps 7⃣.”
A second commented: “#MM7.”

While a third said: “That’s why Ronaldo is g.o.a.t.”
However, some fans are concerned that he took the number with the view that it should have gone to Alejandro Garnacho.
And he finalised the final few details of his transfer today after arriving at Carrington.
On Tuesday, Mount announced he was leaving the Blues in an emotional video he shared with fans.
But supporters reckon the clip was filmed ages ago as Mount showed off an old hair style.
