Brener, 25, suffered a massive gash in the opening round following an elbow from Kutateladze, 31.

It caused horrific bleeding which poured down the Brazilian’s face and got into his hair.

But Brener fought on to score a stoppage win in the third and final round while covered in claret.

Both men were rewarded with the UFC’s $50,000 (£39,450) Fight of The Night bonus for their efforts.

And Brener required stitches for the nasty cut sustained on the top of his head.

UFC president Dana White revealed the before and after shots of the procedure.

Brener had a large gash with the top of his head cut open but it was soon stitched back together by the UFC’s doctor.

It is not the first time White has revealed the brutal extent of one of his fighters’ injuries.
