Kevin Costner stunningly alleges Christine Baumgartner will spend child support on plastic surgery

Kevin Costner and estranged wife Christine Baumgartner’s divorce is seemingly escalating day by day.

The Yellowstone actor is now alleging, via court documents, that his wife is seeking $USD248,000 (approx. $374,735) in child support payments for ulterior motives.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Costner, 68, has alleged Baumgartner, 49, spends more than $USD100,000 ($151,103) on cosmetic surgery procedures.

Furthermore, Costner, via a forensic accountant, has claimed his wife’s request for $USD248,000 in child support payments is to fund her plastic surgery.

As a part of the ongoing separation between the actor and Baumgartner, the pair have submitted their financial records as a part of the child support payment dispute.

Baumgartner has previously alleged $USD248,000 is needed to maintain the lifestyle her children are accustomed to.

Costner’s forensic accountant alleges Baumgartner has put forward financial records which include more than $USD100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery, thousands of dollars in boutique shopping, ATM withdrawals as well other expenses that Costner’s legal team are affirming have nothing to do with child support.

As well as this, the court documents say Baumgartner has included one-off construction fees as well as her litigation expenses as a part of the child support payment requests.

Costner’s team have alleged these also have nothing to do with maintaining the children’s lifestyle as a result of the separation.

Costner is reportedly currently paying Baumgartner $USD51,940 ($78,500) a month in child support.

The actor is also said to be covering private school tuition for his children, car expenses and private health insurance.

Baumgartner filed for divorce in May after 18 years of marriage citing “irreconcilable differences” at the time. Since then, the former couple’s finances have been the biggest point of contention.
