Forgotten Premier League flop agrees permanent transfer exit after playing just SIX minutes all season

SOUTHAMPTON have reportedly agreed a fee with Trabzonspor to see their Premier League flop leave the club.

Mislav Orsic only just joined in January, but his time with the South Coast club looks as if it could already be over.

Mislav Orsic was the first signing of disaster manager Nathan Jones

The Croatia international moved to Southampton for £5million from Dinamo Zagreb, but barely featured after being signed by Nathan Jones.

He only played six minutes of Premier League football and was unable to contribute as Southampton were relegated to the Championship.

But despite his lack of game time, Southampton seem to have had no issue offloading him.

According to The Athletic, Orsic is edging closer to a move to Turkish side Trabzonspor.

It is reported that the 30-year-old was keen to leave in search of regular football and that a fee has been agreed around the £3.5million mark.

It is suggested that he will complete a medical with the Turkish outfit on Thursday ahead of completing his move.

Orsic might not be the only Premier League player to make the switch to Turkey this summer with rumours swirling around about a potential move to Besiktas for Aston Villa man Philippe Coutinho.

Southampton could see a few more exits from St Mary’s this summer as they come to terms with their relegation after finishing bottom of the Premier League.

Right back Tino Livramento has been linked with a move up north to Newcastle as they look the strengthen ahead of their return to the Champions League.

Youngster Romeo Lavia could also be leaving the club with suggestions that Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in striking up a deal for him.
