The beach with lift access can be found on the Corfu

Tucked away on the Greek Island of Corfu one small beach has become a hit with tourists on TikTok thanks to its novelty entrance.

The beach can only be accessed via a small lift from a hotel terrace.

Taking to TikTok, Somi Lynda, who is known as the driplist on the social media platform, posted a  detailing her arrival onto the sandy beach.

In the footage, she showed the lift coming up from the beach to the hotel.

Once the lift was on the terrace, she opened its door and hopped inside.

She then showed her journey down to the beach, which included sunset views over the sea.

In the next clip, she’d arrived at the beach and could be seen carrying an inflatable airbed across the sand and among the sunloungers.

The video has had more than 1.6 million views with users rushing into the comments to share their opinions.

One person wrote: “I stayed there when I visited Corfu, its location is the best. The elevator helps a lot, but I used it once we visited other beaches.”

A second commented: “That’s so cool.”

While another added: “That’s so pretty.”

And Somi isn’t the only person who raved about the beach in a video on TikTok, Claudine Pohl (@claudinepohl) showed users what it was like inside the lift.

In her video, she stood inside the small lift, which seemed like it had enough room for one or two people.

She said: “I’m in the elevator going down, let’s do this.”

In the short clip, she can be seen smiling with excitement as the lift makes its way down to the beach.

Other users on TikTok described the experience as “cool and “fun” but some said they’d rather walk to the beach.

The secluded beach is a private beach owned by the Corfu Holiday Palace – a five-star hotel on the island.

The hotel has a swimming located on a terrace where holidaymakers can find the lift down to the beach.

The hotel’s beachfront has been awarded a Blue Flag status and has been described as “sandy” and pebbly” with crystal-clear waters.

There’s also the “Brachera” Beach Bar where visitors can order a selection of drinks and light bites.

And this isn’t the only secluded beach with a novelty entrance that users have been raving about online.

Tucked away on the Greek island of Milos, Tsigrado Beach has become a hit with tourists thanks to its novelty entrance.

The beach can only be accessed through a small crevice that leads to a wooden ladder and a piece of rope.
