Tottenham ‘targeting THIRD Celtic star’ as Ange Postecoglou plots further transfer raids of old club

CELTIC could be made to brace for THREE bids for their star players from former boss Ange Postecoglou, according to reports.

Postecoglou is already understood to be keen on reunions with Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate at Tottenham, the former in a deal that could be worth between £25m and £30m.

Kyogo has been the name mentioned for the longest time, while Spurs are said to be ‘monitoring’ Hatate.

Striker Kyogo, 28, revealed he has delayed thinking about his future at Celtic for the time being.

While midfielder Hatate, 25, has admitted he’d like to step up to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues at some point.

With Postecoglou determined to make his mark at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, according to the Sunday People (print edition), Cameron Carter-Vickers is now another Hoops ace to be on the Spurs boss’ radar.

They say he is part of the ‘posse’ of Celtic stars the Aussie would bring to North London, alongside Kyogo and Hatate.

Recently-promoted Burnley are also believed to have added Kyogo to their wish list, after the Premier League new boys were priced out of other striking targets.

Turf Moor boss Vincent Kompany reportedly sees the Japanese forward as an alternative to Nathan Tella, who spent last season on loan at the Lancashire club but they are worried Southampton will want too much for him in a permanent deal.

However, with the price tag Burnley are worried about being too much is rumoured to be £18m, it would seem Kyogo would also be out of their price range if Spurs are willing to splash at least £25m on him.

Postecoglou is still unsure what will happen with captain and top star Harry Kane but he is hoping to welcome Kane’s England team mate James Maddison to the club following Leicester’s relegation.

But their pursuit of fellow Leicester ace Harvey Barnes seems doomed, with Arsenal waiting in the wings to pounce and pick up the pieces.

Meanwhile, new Celtic recruit Odin Thiago Holm has spoke of his excitement of testing himself against Rangers in the Old Firm derby, after completing his £2.5m transfer from Valerenga.
